Abstract
PT. X merupakan industri pengolahan coklat bubuk yang ada di wilayah Surabaya, dalam proses produksinya perusahaan tersebut sering mengalami breakdown pada mesin yang mengakibatkan tingginya downtime. permasalahan tersebut dikarenakan pabrik masih menggunakan preventive maintenance dimana adanya perbaikan setelah ada kerusakan. Untuk itu diperlukan adanya implementasi menggunakan metode RCM (Realibility Centered Maintenance) untuk menentukan komponen kritis, mengetahui Tindakan perawatan dan interval penjadwalan perawatan dan perbaikan secara optimal. Metode RCM merupakan metode yang tepat untuk menemukan komponen yang tergolong kritis, kemudian metode Total Minimum Downtime untuk menentukan Interval penjadwalan dan pergantian perawatan komponen kritis, Setelah menemukan waktu interval perawatan dan pergantian komponen dilanjutkan dengan menghitung Downtime pada mesin ACM. Hasil yang didapatkan dengan membandingkan downtime sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan preventive maintenance adalah 10,13 jam dengan persentase 24,9% untuk mesin ACM A dan 10,5 jam dengan persentase 24,7% untuk mesin ACM B.maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa preventive maintenance dapat dilakukan karena terdapat penurunan total downtime.
