Abstract
The SMPN 9 Kediri City building is a public school located in Pesantren District, Kediri City, East Java. The construction of SMPN 9 Kediri Building is planned to use spun pile foundation ⌀ 0.30 m long 5 m. The foundation is difficult to obtain or not ready stock in the manufacturer. The foundation is difficult to obtain or not ready stock in the manufacturer. The existing condition uses a bored pile foundation of 0.40 m diameter. This research aims to analyse the bearing capacity value of mini pile foundation with dimension variation and existing bored pile foundation and its reduction. In this study using different methods, namely the Mayerhoff and Aoki & De Alencar methods and to determine the working axial load, the authors used the SAP2000 v22 application programme. Based on the results of analysis and calculation, the ultimate bearing capacity (Qult) of piles obtained by Meyerhoff method dimensions 0.20 x 0.20 m, 0.25 x 0.25 m, 0.30 x 0.30 m, obtained values of 74.785 Ton, 104.885 Ton, 134.544 Ton, respectively, and Aoki & De Alencar method dimensions 0.20 x 0.20 m, 0.25 x 0.25 m, 0.30 x 0.30 m, obtained values (Qult) of 43.031 Ton, 61, 425 Ton, 83.657 Ton, the ultimate bearing capacity (Qult) of the existing pile (bored pile installed in the project) diameter of 0.40 m is 182.537 Ton and the value (Qg) is 136.058 Ton/m2, while the bearing capacity of the mini pile foundation 0.30 m x 0.30 m Mayerhoff method used as an alternative foundation design is 138.544 Ton and the value (Qg) is 128.262 Ton/m2. The decrease of a single pile in the design of the mini pile foundation used as an alternative is 0.0053 m, while the decrease of the group pile is 0.012 m, the decrease of the planned foundation is still safe from the permissible decrease which is still below 0.02m.
