Abstract

Sarana dan prasarana meja dan kursi yang ergonomis akan membantu meningkatkan kenyamanan siswa saat belajar di sekolah. Tetapi kenyataanya sarana dan prasarana disekolah tidak ergonomis, ketidakergonomisan tersebut ditunjukan melalui perubahan perbedaan data antropometri dari kelas satu sampai kelas enam dan dimensi meja kursi yang dipakai dalam proses belajar mengajar serta kejanggalan dalam posisi duduk siswa yang salah dan tidak lazim. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan perancangan fasilitas sesuai dengan antropometri tubuh siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan pemetaan data antropometri dan merancang ulang (redesain) dimensi ergonomis meja dan kursi dari hasil pemetaan tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pemetaan data antropometri dari kelas satu sampai kelas enam pada sekolah dasar negeri dengan pengujian kesamaan rataan (Anova One-way) dan Duncan kemudian diperoleh 3 kelompok pemetaan yaitu kelompok A (kelas 1 dan 2), kelompok B (kelas 3 dan 4) dan kelompok C (kelas 5 dan 6), selanjutnya dari 3 kelompok pemetaan tersebut dibuat 3 usulan rancangan ulang (Redesain) dengan dimensi yang berbeda beda. Ketiga kelompok rancangan tersebut memakai material dari kayu jati dan berwarna cokelat, setelah itu dilakukan uji coba dan didapatkan penurunan keluhan muskuloskeletal sebesar 32,57%, maka meja dan kursi usulan dapat dikatakan “Ergonomis”.
