Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income and feasibility of rice farming in Neroh Village, Modung District, Bangkalan Regency. The analytical method used is income analysis to find out the average income of rice farmers' farming and then proceed with using Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C Ratio) analysis and Break Event Point (BEP) analysis to identify whether rice farming in Neroh Village is feasible or not. The data used in this study were obtained through a survey using observations and interviews with rice farmers in Neroh Village by observing several factors that affect business feasibility, such as location, production costs, receipts, income and other relevant factors. The method used in this study is a qualitative method using observation and interview data collection methods. Informants in this study amounted to 6 people needed to collect data as research objects. The research data in question includes production costs, monthly income, and monthly expenses. The data obtained will be processed using the calculation of the Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C Ratio) and Break Event Point (BEP) tools. The results of the calculation of the two tools must show a value of more than 1 (> 1) so that it can be stated that rice farming in Neroh Village, Modung District, Bnagkalan Regency is feasible to run. The results of the calculation of the Break Event Point (BEP) will show a breakeven point where the profits obtained have a value equivalent to that required in a rice farming business, meaning that this business is feasible to run.
