Abstract
Proyek adalah suatu kegiatan yang mengutamakan ketepatan waktu dan meminimalkan biaya yang dikeluarkan, namun untk merealisasikannya bukanlah hal yang mudah. Berdasarkan prinsip diatas maka ketepatan waktu, dan biaya pengeluaran yang perlu diberikan perhatian lebih. Studi kasus pada penelitian ini adalah proyek pembuatan mesin grinding pasta cat di PT Pabrik Cat Tunggal Djaja Indah. Pada pelaksanaannya proyek ini dinilai mengalami keterlambatan selama 2 minggu, dengan waktu total penyelesaian proyek yaitu selama 120 hari, maka diperlukan adanya percepatan proyek. Akibat dari keterlambatan ini, pihak produksi yang memerlukan mesin ini menjadi harus menambah stock pasta cat dengan menggunakan mesin lama yang biayanya overhead pemakaiannya sangat tidak efisien. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mempercepat waktu penyelesaian proyek pembuatan mesin grinding pasta ini supaya mengurangi pengeluaran biaya overhead akibat mesin lama dan mencari efisiensi waktu dan biaya setelah dilakukan percepatan. Metode penjadwalan dilakukan dengan menggunakan PDM (Precendence Diagram Method) dengan bantuan software Microsoft Project 2016 untuk mencari jalur kritis yang kemudian setelah diketahui kegiatan kritisnya dilakukan crashing dengan alternatif penambahan jam kerja atau lembur dan penambahan pekerja optimum. Dengan metode Time Cost Trade Off akan dilakukan analisa pada waktu setelah adanya crashing. Diperoleh hasil durasi optimal untuk menyelesaikan proyek ini adalah 107 hari dengan percepatan sebanyak 13 hari kerja dengan presentase 10,38% dan biaya total optimal sebesar Rp 262.947.693 dengan efisiensi sebesar biaya sebesar 3,56%.
