Abstract
This research was conducted to develop a conceptual framework model of research results based on social exchange theory based on previous research. The theory that reveals human beings in doing work has a reciprocal relationship with one another, which can be in the form of rewards, sacrifices, as well as benefits that can influence each other. By using explanatory research, the researcher intends to explain the variables studied and explain the relationship between variables that affect each other. The object used in the testing and development of this research conceptual framework is the field of banking. Banking in carrying out its activities continuously undergoes great changes in various fields, so the banking world always strives to improve the performance of employees, especially those on the frontline. It is this frontline section that has a big role in the achievement of goals to support the company's activities, in terms of performance. The object of research used is PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur, Tbk, especially in frontline employees based on categories determined by researchers. The goal is to test and analyze the influence of 1) Organizational Support on Employee Attitude; 2) Employee Attitude towards Frontline Employee Performance; 3) Employee Attitude towards Employee Work Engagement; 4) Interdisciplinary Training on Employee Work Engagement; 5) Employee Work Engagement to Frontline Employees. The sample used based on Slovin's formula was 175 frontline employees who could be used as respondents in this study spread across several branch offices in the Kertosusila Gate area from the object of study using random sampling. The analysis technique used in this study is SEM (structural equation model) with the AMOS (analysis moment of structure) program version 21. The results showed that the variables of organizational support and interdisciplinary training have a significant influence on frontline employee performance through employee attitude and work engagement as intervening variables in PT.
