Abstract
PT. Miwon Indonesia is one of the companies that started as a company in 1973, the company eventually changed the company name. developments in the market and consumers. Preventive maintenance is maintenance that is usually carried out on a periodic basis, in which a number of maintenance tasks such as inspection, repair, replacement, cleaning are carried out. The research method used is Preventive Maintenance. In this study, researchers analyzed the time between damage to the laminating machine on the Heater Chamber Box component. The data taken is down time data for the Laminating machine from July to December 2022. The results of the analysis and data processing show the level of reliability of the components, namely for the boiler chamber box component of 0.5892 occurring on day 5. And while the press roll rewinder component obtained a reliability level of 0.5925 on day 7. And the results of calculating costs before preventive maintenance are carried out are obtained at a cost Rp. 47,953,572 per 6 months and the cost after preventive maintenance is Rp.29,677,876 per 6 months. With a difference of Rp. 18,285,696. From the results of calculating preventive maintenance costs, it can reduce maintenance expenses at PT.Daesang Ingredients Indonesia than before the preventive maintenance calculation was carried out.
