Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of good corporate governance, sales growth and company size on financial performance. The population in this study are Heavy Construction and Civil Engineering companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2018-2021 with a total of 25 companies. The data collection method uses document studies through secondary data in the form of annual financial reports listed on the IDX for 2018-2021. Sampling using purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques and hypothesis testing in this study used the SmartPLS version 3.0 application with the outer model, inner model and Path analyzes testing methods. Based on the results of hypothesis testing on the parameter of the good corporate governance coefficient or the original sample value (O) is 0.022 with a t-statistic value of 0.148 <1.96 and p-values 0.882 > 0.05. So this shows that H1 in this study is rejected because good corporate governance has no significant effect on financial performance. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis on the sales growth coefficient coefficient parameter or the original sample value (O) is 0.525 with a t-statistic value of 3.123 > 1.96 and p-values 0.002 <0.05. So this shows that H2 in this study is accepted because sales growth has a significant positive effect on financial performance. While the results of the firm size parameter coefficient or the original sample value (O) are -0.442 with a t-statistic value of 3.867 > 1.96 and p-values 0.000 <0.05. This shows that H3 in this study is accepted because firm size has a significant negative effect on financial performance.
