Abstract

Attendance is a data collection activity that is a requirement for knowing someone's presence in an activity. In an government agencies, attendance becomes input for the administration section in assessing attendance. Absenteeism is something that is often ignored and reluctant to do so, many people in an government agencies try not to fill in attendance. The large number of fraudulent activities case against absenteeism is due to the fact that there are still many loopholes for cheating in absenteeism where this can be overcome by utilizing today's technological developments. An attendance system is needed and a combination of geolocation and GPS (Global Positioning System) lock methods is needed. The system designed and built can be used by an government agencies so that it collects attendance data and can reduce the risk of fraud in attendance activities. Based on the results obtained, the use of the Lock GPS method in an attendance system is a good method to use as an attendance method in a system Kata Kunci : Absence, Geolocation, Lock GPS Method, Bawaslu
