Abstract
UD Sumber Tani is a business engaged in rice production. UD Sumber Tani is one of the rice factories located on Jl. Sitarda, Lasem Village, Sedayu District, Gresik Regency. UD Sumber Tani's rice milling business uses a dryer-hellerseparator (kebi)-polisher machine configuration. In an effort to meet the demand for rice products from distributors and consumers, UD Sumber Tani wants to add a kebi (polisher) machine to increase production capacity in its business. This requires further review of the machine investment that will be made to UD Sumber Tani in order to avoid large losses in making investments. Thus, it is necessary to conduct a feasibility analysis of machine investment in rice factories at UD Sumber Tani. The analysis will be carried out by analyzing the feasibility of investment from various aspects, namely market aspects, technical aspects and financial aspects. The criteria for eligibility for subsequent investments are NPV, IRR, and Payback Period. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out based on the aspects of market demand, technical, and financial aspects, this investment is said to be feasible. In the financial aspect, the calculation of several parameters is NPV IDR 1.696.324.627 ≥0, IRR level 58% above the specified MARR, and PP on this investment is 1 years. The time period to get returns is not too long, so the investment in adding kebi machines in the financial aspect is said to be feasible.
