Abstract
The development of science and technology and robotics is currently growing rapidly in the fields of industry, households, and education. The large amount of research and competition in the field of robotics has led to the creation of new innovations such as adding sensors and even control methods. Most of the use of robots is to help and facilitate human work. Therefore the robot must be designed very well so as to minimize errors such as crashing into an object. Therefore, the obstacle voiding feature is needed where this feature uses 2 distance sensors as input data so that the robot does not crash into other objects in front of it. In this research a line follower mobile robot will be made with the additional feature of obstacle avoiding. Where the obstacle avoiding feature is obtained from the results of the fuzzy logic method. The robot will walk according to the path of the line but when an object is blocking it, the robot will determine a new path to avoid and return to the line where it should be. The results of this study are that the robot can move according to the line path and when given a cube object with sides of 15-25cm the robot can dodge properly.
