Abstract
The Branding Strategy is a very important and main plan in developing or an improvement to the object, the Destination Branding also has stages whose purpose is to explain the linkages to developments in the Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism destination, the Nongsa sensation is developing in the nongsa area so that become a tourist destination that has differences from other tours. The researcher uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Descriptive research method with a qualitative approach is a research method that aims to interpret a social phenomenon about something obtained by research material. In this method the researcher builds a detailed picture, analyzes the language, reports clear things from the informant's point of view, and conducts a study of the actual situation. To develop tourist destinations in the Nongsa area, Nongsa Sensation is also very unique because Resorts and Villages can great potential to continue to develop the tourism sector. There are several stages carried out by Nongsa Sensation in developing tourist destinations in the Nongsa area. However, the results of this study use the stages of the Destination Branding Strategy which include 1) Market investigation, analysis, and strategic recommendations, 2) Brand Identity Development, 3) Brand Launching, 4) Brand Implementation, 5) Monitoring, evaluation, and review. Based on the conclusions from the research entitled Destination Branding Strategy in Introducing Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism Destinations by Nongsa Sensation Batam City that uses Branding Stages which include 1) Market Investigation, Analysis and Strategic Recommendations, 2) Development of Brand Identity, 3) Brand Launching, 4) Brand Implementation, 5) Monitoring, evaluation, and review. However, the results of this study can provide an evaluation for Nongsa Sensation regarding the Destination branding strategy that needs to be improved again in producing Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism destinations.
