Abstract

The most basic problem in the electric power distribution system is on quality, continuity and availability of electric power services to consumers. So that the failure of the equipment causes the supply of electricity to be interrupted. The reliability index calculated is SAIFI (System Average Interruption frequency) and SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration). To find out distribution system reliability level analyzed one way with the method section and add LBS Equipment by dividing the system into several parts and then analyzed each of these parts, and if on the results of saidi saifi's calculations are in excess of the pln standard, so it is needed additional LBS to test if any additional lbs will decrease the value large saidi or saifi calculations so that optimal results are obtained that the length of the network in section 1 is 5.97 Kms and 4418 subscribers, section 2 channel length is 2.11 and 3548 customers, in section 3 is 0.721 Kms and Customer 7369 and lastly in section 4 is 1.96 Kms and Customer 2207. From these data, the calculation of the failure rate calculation is obtained for each section and the calculation of the reliability index for each section. Then the value is obtained the reliability of the Bulak Banteng Feeder before the addition of the SAIDI Value of 3.34686761 hours / year and for SAIFI 5.13088 times / year. From the results The calculation of the reliability index is then analyzed based on the SPLN standard 682 : 1986. For SAIFI 5.13088 times / year exceeds the standard, which is 3.2 times / year and for SAIDI 3.34686761 hours / year below the standard, namely 21 hours / year and still reliable. and for the calculation of the reliability index value after the existence the addition of LBS is SAIFI of 1.95 times/year and for SAIDI of 6.8547 hours/year. From the results of the calculation of the reliability index is then analyzed based on SPLN standard 682 : 1986. For SAIFI 1.95 times/year below the standard, which is 3.2 times / year, is said to be reliable / for SAIDI 6.8547 hours / years below the standard, namely 21 hours / year and still reliable.
