Abstract

Atas dasar makin pesatnya pertumbuhan pada kawasan industri, bisnis dan pemukiman di indonesia yang mengakibatakan meningkatnya kebutuhan akan tenaga listrik, maka PT. PLN (Persero) tidak hanya berusaha memenui permintaan daya yang meningkat akan tetapi juga memperbaiki tingkat keandalan pelayanan. Pada penelitian tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi dan mengkaji keandalan sistem jaringan distribusi 20kV pada penyulang PT. PLN ULP Giri dengan menggunakan metode Reliability Index Assessment (RIA) yang diamana cara memprediksi gangguan pada sistem distribusi berdasarkan topologi sistemnya dan mengenai keandalan pada komponen dengan cara mendata kegagalan yang terjadi pada peralatan yang diakibatkan oleh gangguan sementara. Dari hasil perhitungan yang diperoleh pada nilai indeks keandalan SAIFI, SAIDI, dan CAIDI menggunakan metode Reliability Index Assessment (RIA), pada 4 penyulang yang dianalisa nilai indeks tertinggi untuk penyunyulang Mengare yaitu ada pada niali indeks SAIFI sebesar 2,308929177 untuk Penyulang Budi nyata terdapat pada nilai indeks CAIDI sebesar 1,690136658 sedangkan Penyulang Industri terdapat pada nilai indeks SAIFI sebesar 1,018453523 dan pada penyulang Aspal terdapat pada nilai indeks SAIFI sebesar 0,5936499412 sehingga dapat dikatakan hasil evaluasi sesuai dengan standart PLN 68-2 tahun 1986 bahkan hasil dari 4 penyulang dikatakan andal dan jauh lebih baik serta sesuai dengan ketentuan standart PLN 68-2 tahun 1986.
