Abstract

Shrimp cultivation is an aquaculture business related to the maintenance of shrimp from fry until the shrimp are ready for sale. Shrimp aquaculture systems consist of extensive and semi-intensive systems. Extensive shrimp farming is shrimp ponds that still use nature's grace and low costs. While semi-intensive shrimp ponds are shrimp ponds that require high costs compared to extensive shrimp ponds. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the cost of shrimp ponds, shrimp ponds that are worth choosing and the difference in income from extensive and semi-intensive shrimp farming. On the financial aspect, this study uses the Net Present Value (NPV), Incremental Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP) and Profibility Index methods. In the analysis, the cost parameters carried out are project investment costs, production costs and operational costs. The results of the Extensive Shrimp Pond investment research at a price of Rp. 60,000,000 with a depreciation of Rp. 400,000 in the first year with a feasibility level of Net Present Value of Rp. 219,486,340, Payback Period 3 months 41 days, for Internal Of Return of Rp. 6 .01%. The results of the investment research on Semi-Intensive Shrimp Ponds at a price of Rp. 114,780,000 with a depreciation of Rp. 400,000 in the first year with a feasibility level of Net Present Value of Rp. 339,274,084, Payback Period of 3 months 52 days, for Internal Of Return of Rp. 6.82%. Investment in Extensive and Semi-Intensive Shrimp Ponds is feasible, this can be said because it is based on calculations that have been made. Keyword: Cultivation, Investment, NPV, IRR, PP, PI.
