Abstract
The purpose of inventory control analysis is to optimize the quantity of motor oil inventory at Fifa Motor store using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. This is done because Fifa Motor store faces challenges in estimating demand, which leads to excessive or insufficient stock purchases. The EOQ method is used to determine the appropriate inventory quantity, considering relevant costs such as purchase costs, ordering costs, and holding costs. In this analysis, calculations are also performed for order frequency, safety stock, and reorder point to ensure effective and efficient inventory control. By utilizing the EOQ method, it is expected that Fifa Motor store can minimize costs when ordering stock items. The research results indicate that the economical ordering of engine oil is with a purchase quantity of 672 gallons per order. The safety stock should be maintained at a level of 160-239 gallons per year and 13- 20 gallons per month for each type of oil. The re-order point should be set when the stock of car engine oil reaches 5-7 gallons for each type of oil. Keywords: Inventory, EOQ, Safety Stock, ROP.
