Abstract
PT WMB is a manufacturing company producing products in the form of dolomite brand fertilizer. This company is committed to being a supplier for regular customers who place orders for its products. The company has 12 regular customers spread across the East Java region with different total requests every day. The product delivery process carried out by this company does not pay attention to the shipping routes that are passed. The shipping route that has been implemented by the company so far requires the fleet to pass through two routes at once. This condition causes alternating current, which means that after shipping to route 1, the fleet must return to the company to pick up fertilizer to be sent to route 2. This means that there are still exclusive routes in the delivery system at this company. Product delivery is oriented towards timely delivery for customer satisfaction without regard to shipping capacity that has not been optimized. As a result, the fleet that is used to make deliveries still has free space due to the fact that the fleet capacity is still not fulfilled so that the transportation costs that must be incurred by the company are increasingly inflated or expensive. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the optimal route to minimize shipping costs. Researchers determined distribution routes using the CVRPTW method with the MILP (Mixed Interger Linear Programming) approach using the help of lingo 18.0 software to obtain savings in transportation costs. Model development in determining the optimal distribution route results in a minimum total travel distance, travel time, and transportation costs. Mileage has decreased by 340 km, travel time has decreased by 261 minutes and total transportation costs are able to save by 13,59 % or Rp 824.107.
