Abstract

In adulthood, entrepreneurship is an alternative for human resources to develop quality in order to achieve a decent standard of living in terms of the economy. The author tries to find links between several factors that might influence young people's interest in entrepreneurship, especially students. This study was used to determine whether Entrepreneurship Competence, Entrepreneurship Motivation, and Self�Efficacy influence the Entrepreneurial Interests of Students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of August 17, 1945, Surabaya. This study used a quantitative method, the technique used in this study was using a purposive sampling technique, and using 100 respondents as the sample in this study. The results in this study are known partially Entrepreneurship Competence to Interest in Entrepreneurship found a t count of 2.289 > t table of 1.660. Entrepreneurship motivation towards Entrepreneurial Interest found a t count of 2.056 > t table of 1.660. Self-Efficacy on Interest in Entrepreneurship found a t count of 3.403 > t table of 1.660. Then it is known that the significance value is 0.000 <0.05. Based on this comparison, it can be concluded that partially or simultaneously the Competence Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship Motivation, and Self-Efficacy variables have a significant influence on the Interest in Entrepreneurship variable. Hopefully, the results of this study can provide contributions and information to increase knowledge for readers and further research by adding variables so that they can become more complex and more accurate.
