Abstract

Automatic sliding door mechanism is an electronic circuit that can drive astepper motor so that it can move a door automatically if the pir sensor is turned offby an object. The stages of setting up the door opening and closing system forautomatic sliding doors are carried out using gears, designing and setting therequired type of material. Stages of testing analyzing the mechanism of the door opening and closingsystem with a gear mechanism on automatic sliding doors is done by analyzing thekinematic data from the design of the system and the use of electric motor power onthe automatic door opening and closing system. The transmission is carried out bymodifying the pinion gear of the power window motor using the 1,5 module appliedto the automatic sliding door with a pinion-rack mechanism. Pinion Gear with 3variations including 15 teeth, 20 teeth, and 25 teeth. Gear Rack with 1,5 module with940mm length. The more the number of teeth on the pinyon gear produces a small torque sothat the motor experiences a decrease in the load capacity that can be driven butproduces a high speed.
