Abstract

Currently, the Surabaya government has provided a space for MSMEs or street vendors to sell their products. With the establishment of the Culinary Tourism Center (SWK), the vendors can easily meet their daily needs and no longer worry about the safety of their selling place. The success of businesses in the SWK depends on the innovation and business development carried out by the vendors. Knowledge of entrepreneurship is crucial in managing the provided capital. In SWK Bratang Binangun Surabaya, there are 52 available spaces, but only 40 vendors are actively selling their products. Research is conducted to identify potential issues, such as the influence of entrepreneurial motivation, personal independence, and entrepreneurship knowledge on business success. While the competition in SWK is not too intense, the success of businesses is not evenly distributed. Lack of entrepreneurial motivation can be a significant factor affecting business success in SWK Bratang Binangun Surabaya. The research methodology used is a quantitative approach, utilizing questionnaires as the data collection tool. The respondents in this study are active vendors in SWK Bratang Binangun Surabaya. The research findings indicate that entrepreneurial motivation has a positive and significant influence on business success. Additionally, personal independence and entrepreneurship knowledge also have a positive and significant impact on business success. The research suggests that vendors should enhance their entrepreneurial motivation, develop strong personal traits, and cultivate their individual personalities. With support from the Surabaya government, vendors can enhance their motivation and entrepreneurship knowledge, improve their entrepreneurial skills, and expand their knowledge of entrepreneurship.
