Abstract
This study aims to determine the mechanism for submitting requests for restitution and implementing restitution for children who are victims of sexual violence. The right to restitution is the right to compensation that is imposed on the perpetrator and is given based on the victim's decision from a court that has permanent legal force and a court order. So far, most children who are victims of sexual violence do not ask for compensation because child victims of sexual violence do not know the mechanism for filing and implementing compensation. This research method is a normative juridical research method using statutory, contextual, and case approaches. Based on this research, it was found that child victims of sexual violence have the right to restitution. Submission of requests for restitution can be made after a court decision has permanent legal force and before a court decision has permanent legal force. At the stage of submitting an appeal for cassation, which does not yet have the law, it can still be carried out at the stage of investigation and prosecution. In the implementation of restitution, the prosecutor's office plays an important role in the implementation of court decisions. Prosecutors have the task of confiscating and auctioning assets that are subject to crimes of sexual violence that do not pay compensation.
