Abstract

The development of UMK in each region also has the potential to assist national development and growth by developing the economy and being able to create adequate new jobs. The existence of UMK is able to become a bridge for the community so that they do not only rely on employment, but are able to create new jobs. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial character on business success at UMK Culinary Centers in Semolowaru Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative research method approach by collecting data using a questionnaire. The population in this study were all 30 UMK owners of food and beverage at the Semolowaru culinary center in Surabaya, with all members of the population being the research sample. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that entrepreneurial orientation had a significant effect on business success at the UMK Culinary Center in Semolowaru, Surabaya. Entrepreneurial character has a significant effect on business success at the Culinary Sentra UMK in Semolowaru Surabaya. Entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial character have a significant effect on business success at the UMK Culinary Center in Semolowaru Surabaya.
