Abstract

This research is titled "The Influence of Locus of Control and Family Environment on the Entrepreneurial Interest of Generation Z Who Have Received Entrepreneurship Education in Sukolilo District, Surabaya". The aim of this study is to examine whether Locus of Control and Family Environment have a positive and significant influence on the entrepreneurial interest of generation Z who have received entrepreneurship education in Sukolilo District, Surabaya. The method used in this study is quantitative correlation. The data source is primary data collected through questionnaire distribution. The sample of this study uses purposive sampling technique and consists of 100 respondents. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. Data processing is done using Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) version 22. The results show that the t-test of Locus of Control and Family Environment variables has a positive and significant influence on the entrepreneurial interest of generation Z who have received entrepreneurship education in Sukolilo District, Surabaya. The F-test results indicate that the Locus of Control and Family Environment variables have a positive and significant simultaneous influence on the entrepreneurial interest of generation Z who have received entrepreneurship education in Sukolilo District, Surabaya. For the generation Z community in Sukolilo District, Surabaya, it is necessary to build strong self-confidence and be able to overcome self-doubt, especially regarding their abilities. In addition, support and encouragement from the family can influence entrepreneurial activities.
