Abstract

Of the various types of public services, one of the fundamental ones is population administration services. It is said to be fundamental because population administration concerns the existence of individuals or groups as Indonesian citizens or not. In addition, population administration also influences individual identity in dealing with government affairs, the police, and business matters. In this research, the background is administrative services in making birth certificates in the Sememi Village, Surabaya. Where there are still some facilities that need to be addressed and improved. In addition, the organizational behavior of employees is also sometimes not optimal in their services and needs to be improved so that community satisfaction can be achieved. The purpose of this study was to examine the quality of administrative services in making birth certificates in Sememi Village, Surabaya. Where by examining the quality, you will find out what are the obstacles in the service that need to be improved and what are the things that support the service which are the basis for the success of service and quality which can later be said to be good. The results of this study are that the facilities to support service and employee satisfaction really need to be improved so that the quality of service can still be said to be more than adequate. Facilities in the infrastructure section, such as computer supplies, toilets, air ventilation in the room, cleanliness of the prayer room, parking area, really need to be addressed and given more attention so that people feel comfortable and the work of employees is also not disturbed. The attitude of employees during the service process must also always be controlled by being friendly, responsive, agile, and clear in conveying explanations to the public. Although sometimes there are some employees who are still not optimal in implementing their service behavior. Factors that influence services in Sememi Village really need to be considered because they are the basis for the success of services which will also get positive values from the community. In addition, the supporting factors and supporting factors of the process of running the service must also be considered because the supporting factors make the service implementation optimal and as much as possible the aspects must be maintained or even can be improved to be even better. Inhibiting factors must also be addressed as soon as possible so that it does not always make service slow and not optimal. Because if it is not immediately addressed, then community satisfaction will also decrease. After conducting research, it can be concluded that the quality of administrative services in Sememi Village can be said to be quite good. From all the backgrounds of the problems that exist in Sememi Kelurahan, the quality of facilities and service quality are interdependent on one another. Where if you want the service to run quickly, easily, and nimbly, it must also be supported by complete facilities and function as a whole. Because if the facilities are incomplete, it will also affect the work processes of employees in the Sememi Village. In addition, employees and the community are also interdependent where employees must provide services to the community in accordance with the complaints submitted and the community must always comply with the regulations that have been made in the Sememi Village so that conditions remain conducive and services can run well and get maximum results.
