Abstract

Air merupakan komponen yang sangat penting untuk menunjang kebutuhan makhluk hidup di seluruh dunia. Kekurangan atau kelebihan air memerlukan penanganan pengelolaan alokasi air yang tepat dan efisien, dalam upaya menjamin ketersediaan air irigasi, khususnya untuk pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan air irigasi yang ada di daerah irigasi Ketandan, kemudian mencari beberapa alternatif untuk menentukan pola tanam dan jadwal tanam yang efektif dan efisien, serta memaksimalkan lahan pertanian sehingga menghasilkan keuntungan yang maksimal. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menghitung kebutuhan air irigasi untuk setiap jenis tanaman yang direncanakan. Metode optimasi yang digunakan dalam perhitungan pada penelitian ini adalah metode linear dengan bantuan aplikasi QM for Windows 4. Dari hasil perhitungan dan pembahasan optimalisasi bantuan program linear terlihat bahwa kebutuhan air eksisting di daerah irigasi Kebunan adalah 17,79 l/s/ha, pola tanam Palawija-Padi-Padi dengan awal Agustus I tanam dan hasil untuk setiap jenis tanaman yang direncanakan dalam satu musim adalah alternatif IV (Padi I: 3,47 lt/dt/ha), (Padi II: 8,64 lt/dt/ha), dan (Palawija: 9,58 lt/dt/ha) merupakan hasil nilai keuntungan tertinggi sebesar Rp 144.355.900.000 per tahun, dengan luas tanam 1.610 Ha.
