Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze energy losses in the distribution line of a low voltage network at PLN UP3 North Surabaya. The approach taken in this research is to collect energy loss data at each distribution point and identify the main causes of energy loss. In addition, this study will identify what can be done to reduce energy losses in these distribution channels. Based on the results of the study, PT PLN UP3 North Surabaya experienced a technical loss of 769,516 kWh and a non-technical loss of 58.81 kWh. The amount of technical losses exceeds non-technical losses because consumers of PLN UP3 North Surabaya are low-voltage customers, so non-technical losses can be reduced. The results of this research are expected to provide appropriate recommendations to improve the energy efficiency of the low voltage distribution network PLN (Persero) UP3 North Surabaya.
