Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh profesionalisme, time budget pressure, dan teknologi informasi terhadap kinerja auditor dengan proses auditing sebagai mediasi di Kantor Akuntan Publik yang ada di Surabaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 7 Kantor Akuntan Publik yang ada di Surabaya dimana menghasilkan jawaban kuisioner hingga memiliki jumlah sampel 35 responden. Metode penentuan sampel yang dilakukan dipenelitian ini adalah convenience sampling. Untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner langsung. Teknik analisis di penelitian ini menggunakan Structual Equation Model – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan menggunakan software SMART PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses auditing sebagai pemediasi tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel-variabel bebas seperti profesionalisme, time budget pressure dan teknologi informasi terhadap variabel terikat yaitu kinerja auditor. Untuk hubungan langsung antara variabel profesionalisme terhadap kinerja auditor menghasilkan pengaruh signifikan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa teknologi informasi terhadap proses auditing memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja auditor. Sementara untuk hubungan profesionalisme terhadap proses auditing menghasilkan pengaruh tidak signifikan. Untuk hubungan proses auditing terhadap kinerja auditor juga menghasilkan pengaruh tidak signifikan. Untuk hubungan teknologi informasi terhadap kinerja auditor juga menghasilkan pengaruh tidak signifikan. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa hubungan time budget pressure terhadap kinerja auditor maupun time budget pressure terhadap proses auditing menghasilkan pengaruh yang tidak signifikan.
