Abstract

This study to identify and prove empirically the secure attachment relationship and fulfillment of affection needs with resilience in the families of Indonesian Migrant Employees (PMI) in Pomahan Village, Ponorogo Regency. The variables to be examined in this study consist of independent variables (X1) secure attachment and (X2) fulfillment of affective needs and dependent variables (Y) resilience. The subjects of this study were elementary school students in Pomahan Village in the 5th and 6th grade whose parents worked as Indonesian Migrant Employees (PMI) as many as 70 children. Data analysis was done through normality test and relationship linearity test, then tested the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables using rho spearman brown correlation analysis techniques assisted with SPSS computer system version 16.0 for windows to prove the hypothesis. The technique of collecting data uses a Likert scale, observation and interviews. Based on the hypothesis test obtained there is no significant relationship between secure attachment and fulfillment of affection needs with resilience in the families of Indonesian Migrant Employees (PMI) in Pomahan Village, Ponorogo Regency. The calculation results obtained from the rho spearman brown correlation show the correlation between secure attachment and resilience is -0.117 with p = 0.335; (p> 0.05). The correlation between meeting affective needs and resilience is 0.084 with p = 0.488; (p> 0.05). has the meaning that secure attachment and fulfillment of affection do not have a correlation on children's resilience.
