Abstract
UD. Sukri Dana Abadi often do not meet demand requirements. There is a lot of demand for products with the use of unproductive working time due to delays when carrying out the product manufacturing process and the number of workers who are less in each type of work in the manufacture of products, this results in production not being fulfilled for palm fiber brooms, light brooms, and floor brooms water. The steps taken to solve this problem include the method of measuring working time with downtime and the work sampling method used to solve a problem in the use of working time and determining the number of workers who are less than optimal. Analysis of the calculation of work time on broom assembly is that the time used in the production process can be said to be optimal because it can speed up time during the production process. The determination of the workforce resulted in an additional workforce of 7 people in the palm fiber broom assembly, 4 people in the light broom assembly, and 2 people in the water floor broom assembly. So, the total increase in the number of workers in the product assembly process is 13 people. However, in the process of assembling the product, it was assisted by a workforce of 4 palm fiber cleaning workers and 5 palm fiber drying workers. So before the determination of the number of workers, the assembly assistant workers were determined as many as 9 people. Then the total determination of the number of workers needed is 13 – 9 = 4 people. The workforce required is 4 people. Keywords: Measurement of Working Time, Labor, Work Sampling
