Abstract

Sektor Ekonomi pada suatu wilayah akan sangat mempengaruhi mobilitas yang terjadi. Elemen-elemen yang terlibat dengan mobilisasi ini tentunya sangat membutuhkan media yang baik. Hal ini yang mendorong suatu pemeritahan di wilayah tersebut untuk menciptakan akses mobilisasi yang memadai. Pembangunan infrastruktur Transportasi menjadi salah satu elemen penting yang dapat menciptakan suatu ketahanan ekonomi yang baik. Namun tak jarang dimasa ini pembangunan harus dibarengi dengan pemeliharaan yang baik pula. Pemelihraan yang baik akan membuat umur rencana suatu infrastruktur dapat tercapai. Kerusakan jalan dinilai dapat menghambat laju mobilasisi, perlu adanya metode-metode khusus untuk mengetahui jenis kerusakan yang terjadi begitu pula penanganannya. Penelitian berfokus pada kerusakan jalan yang terjadi pad ruas Jalan Raya Banjarsari – Jalan Raya Gresik-Babat yang menjadi titik jenuh kepadatan Transportasi di Kabupaten Gresik. Penelitian ini diawali dengan melakukan pengamatan secara visual terhadap objek, lalu menandai, mengukur, dan mencatat kerusakan yang terjadi pada ruas Jalan Raya Banjarsari – Jalan Raya Gresik-Babat. Tujuan dari pengamatan tersebut adalah untuk mengelompokkan jenis-jenis kerusakan serta menganilisis jenis kerusakan tersebut menggunakan metode PCI atau Pavement Condition Index. Pada metode PCI memberikan klasifikasi terhadap kerusakan dengan nilai yang sudah didapat untuk mengetahui tingkat kerusakan pada jalan tersebut. Sebagai contoh pada STA 2 + 900 – 3 + 000 terdapat tujuh macam jenis kerusakan yang didapati. Hal ini berbanding lurus dengan fakta di lapangan bahwa STA 2 + 900 – 3 + 000 adalah yang berlokasi dekat dengan Terminal Bunder di Jalan Raya Gresik-Babat. Dimana pada ruas jalan area Terminal Bunder merupakan titik terpadat. Pada section tersebut diketahui nilai PCI adalah 23, yang menandakan pada ruas jalan tersebut tergolong jalan dengan kondisi Poor atau Buruk.
