Abstract
PT. Elang Jagad is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry which produces gas stoves located on Jl. Cabbage. Sugiono No. 53 RT.05 RW.02, Ngingas Village, Waru Sidorajo District. There are 5 of the five machines that often experience damage, namely the Hydraulic Press Machine with a breakdown time of 4,700 minutes. The purpose of this research is to make a maintenance schedule for the Hydraulic Press Machine and find the right maintenance method to get the lowest cost. The method used in this study is using the Preventive Maintenance method. The results of calculating the reliability value of each component of the Hydraulic Press machine, namely the hydraulic pump component, has a reliability level of 0.5. Reservior tank components have a reliability level of 0.5 , Control valve components have a reliability level for one day of 0.48 , Cylinder Components have a reliability level for one day of 0.56 , Oil cooler components have a reliability level for one day of 0.5 , the Conductor component has a reliability level of 0.5 . Furthermore, the maintenance time interval is determined using the Age Replacement method, namely the Pumps hydraulic component for 59 days, the Reservior tank component for 31 days, the Controlvalve component for 26 days, the Cylinder component for 23 days, Oil cooler components for 28 days, Conductor components for 28 days. From the calculation results, the result shows that the total cost of maintenance before preventive with reliability is Rp. 13,140,000, and the cost of maintenance after preventive with reliability is Rp. 12,247,378.72. And it is known that there is a difference between the calculation results for costs before and after preventive maintenance of Rp. 892,621,28. From the results of the difference it is known that the calculation after preventive maintenance can reduce the expenses of PT. Elang Jagad from before the preventive maintenance calculations were carried out. Keywords : Hydraulic Press Machine, Preventive Maintenance, Reliability
