Abstract
CV. Safira Anugrah Perkasa is a company engaged in the sale or distribution of PVC, especially PVC pipes located in Magersari Hamlet, Boteng Village, Menganti District, Gresik Regency, East Java. CV. Safira Anugrah Perkasa has experienced problems regarding the layout of mixed goods or the absence of division of space for each size and type, as a result when doing stock orders errors often occur which cause stock to pile up and result in the company having to pay for pipes tha do not come out of the warehouse. For this reason, this study aims to provide suggestions for rearranging PVC pipe products so that PVC pipe products are easily monitored by the head of the warehouse and help loading and unloading employees so that their work becomes more efficient. The method used for structuring PVC pipe products is ABC Classification in supply based on known demand in a predetermined period. The results showed that in Class A, the rupiah period volume value was 67.34% of the total inventory, which consisted of 4 items (22.22%) of all PVC pipe inventories with an investment value of Rp. 1,818,249,300. Class B has a rupiah period volume value of 20.21% of the total inventory, which consists of 6 items (33.33%) of the entire PVC pipe inventory with an investment value of Rp 616,157,150. Class C has a rupiah period volume value of 9.84% of the total inventory, which consists of 8 items (44.44%) of the entire PVC pipe inventory with an investment value of Rp 265,693,835. By doing this method the time efficiency is 30 minutes for each activity. Keywords: ABC Classification in Inventory
