Abstract

In the case of a post mortem investigation it is very important to have it as a complement to the evidence of a case, as well as the family of the victim, which is used to complement the evidence of a case and reveal a case, which with the help of experts can make it easier in terms of handling which authority What is given to investigators is a law aimed at submitting expert testimony. The situation of Visum Et Repertum can be said to be important which is to overcome legal problems, namely the obstacles that occur, namely for investigators to be able to immediately make a letter requesting Visum Et Repertum to victims who are asked to the doctor if there are victims who need to be asked for Visum Et Repertum to be examined immediately and preferably, for the family it is hoped that they can give permission to do a post-mortem for the purposes of investigation, and for the hospital so that the making of Visum Et Repertum can run smoothly. Manipulating or falsifying documents, such as autopsy results, can be classified as a crime under the Criminal Code. Letter forgery is one of the behaviors that can be carried out with this kind of evidence. If a doctor falsifies a letter, they can be charged under Article 267 of the Criminal Code. This crime can also result in ethical and disciplinary sanctions for the doctor. So this in the post mortem action also requires honesty from the doctor. Professionalism in the field of medical science is also very much needed by doctors which is the basis of the doctor's contract with the public. The principles and responsibilities of the profession must be clearly understood by both doctors and the public. What is important in a contract with the community is trust in doctors and this depends on the integrity of the individual doctor, as well as the entire medical profession. This study aims to determine the responsibility of forensic doctors in criminal acts of counterfeiting in visum et repertum. In this research, the writer uses normative juridical method and examines the literature data which includes primary and secondary laws.
