Abstract

Undang-undang nomor 22 Tahun 2009 Tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan mengatur bahwa fungsi zebra cross tak lain sebagai penyebrangan pejalan kaki. Pasal 131 undang-undang tersebut menjelaskan bahwa zebra cross merupakan salah satu hak fasilitas yang diberikan ke pejalan kaki selain trotoar. Lebih lanjut dijelaskan pada Pasal 132, pejalan kaki wajib menggunakan zebra cross ketika hendak menyebrang jalan. Penggunaan pelican crossing sebagai alat agar bisa fashion show menggunakan zebra cross. Salah satunya adalah dalam undang-undang negara kita, seperti Undang-Undang Lalu Lintas dan Transportasi Jalan. Undang-undang ini memiliki aturan untuk jalan dan transportasi serta aturan untuk lalu lintas. Pemasangan tersebut diperuntukan agar pejalan kaki bisa menggunakan zebra cross demi menyebrang jalan dengan selamat karena kendaraan bermotor berhenti menunggu lampu hijau. Zebra cross juga dapat dibuat di tengah jalan supaya kendaraan bermotor bisa mengurangi kecepatan agar pejalan kaki bisa menyebrang dengan selamat.
