Abstract
Perizinan menjadi salah satu faktor penting guna pengendalian lingkungan hidup dari limbah yang beresiko mencemari ligkungan. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih banyak bermunculan usaha-usaha bisnis. Usaha-usaha bisnis ini tentunya perlu mengantongi izin usaha dari pemerintah setempat. Salah satu usaha yang digemari masyarakat adalah usaha laundry. Usaha laundry perlu mengantongi izin, hal ini dikarenakan suatu usaha perlu memperoleh izin dari pemerintah, agar usaha tersebut dapat terdaftar secara resmi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian normatif (normative legal research), di mana dalam penelitian ini tidak terdapat hipotesa karena didasarkan pada isu hukum yang digunakan sehingga tujuan utama dari penelitian jenis normatif adalah untuk menjawab isu hukum yang digunakan, serta juga memberikan preskripsi mengenai apa yang seyogyanya. Pentingnya pengurusan izin terhadap usaha laundry ini karena berkaitan dengan limbah yang dibuang, sebab dalam operasionalnya usaha laundry banyak menggunakan bahan kimia. Oleh sebab itulah, usaha laundry perlu mengantongi izin dari pemerintah. Selain harus memenuhi peraturan pemerintah terkait izin usaha laundry, para pelaku usaha laundry juga harus mematuhi izin lingkungan dan izin pembuangan limbah laundry. Izin pembuangan ini tidak dapat dipisahkan dengan izin usaha. karena Usaha laundry memiliki resiko yang cukup besar dampaknya terhadap lingkungan. usaha yang memiliki resiko harus mematuhi ketentuan yang beraku yakni Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 5 Tahun 2021 Tentang Penyelenggaraan Perizinan Berusaha Berbasis Risiko. Kata Kunci : Perizinan, Lingkungan, Laundry
