Abstract

Fenvironmental actors abuse of narcotics occurs a lot among young people of productive age in Indonesia. Narcotics Law no. 35 of 2009 was passed in order to reduce the number of drug abusers and dealers in Indonesia. The Drug Law also limits the legal protection given to addicts and victims of narcotics abuse, in particular by providing access to medical and social rehabilitation; However, this legal protection has not been implemented optimally, with many addicts and victims of narcotics abuse being sent to prison. Occur. Every Narcotics abuser without exception must get access to medical and social rehabilitation, in accordance with the belief that Narcotics Abusers are victims of the crimes they commit (Self Victimizing Victims). Based on the study and analysis above, the legal protection of the Narcotics Law has not been fully and fully implemented, and is not yet in accordance with the directions of the Narcotics Law.
