Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Religiosity and Parenting Style with Altruism in Adolescents. This research is a type of quantitative research using correlational research. The subjects in this study totaled 87 adolescents and were selected through a non-probability sampling technique with incidental sampling. The data collection method is through distributing questionnaires using a Google form using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used in this study is a multiple regression analysis technique. The results obtained in this study indicate that there is a relationship with a correlation score of 0.549 with a significance of Sig 0.000 (<0.05). This means that simultaneously Religiosity and Parenting Parents have a positive influence on Altruism Behavior in Adolescents. Square of 0.301 which can be interpreted as Religiosity and Parenting Style have a 30.1% influence on Altruism behavior in Adolescents. In the second hypothesis the relationship between religiosity and parenting style with altruistic behavior in adolescents is rejected, because the significance value is > 0.05, namely 0.323. This means that religiosity in this study has no role in altruism in adolescents. The third hypothesis is Parenting Parents with Altruism behavior in adolescents with a significance value of > 0.05, namely 0.000, meaning that Parenting Styles have a positive relationship to altruism in adolescents.
