Abstract

Kepuasan pernikahan adalah perasaan individual antara suami dan istri tentang perasaan mereka secara keseluruhan tentang kebahagiaan, kepuasan, dan kenikmatan pernikahan mereka. Komunikasi interpersonal merupakan kondisi komunikasi yang terdiri dari dua pihak saja seperti suami dan isteri, antar teman, guru dengan siswa, dan lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada pasangan suami istri. Hipotesis yang diajukan pada penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan positif antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada pasangan suami istri. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 51 partisipan yang diambil menggunakan metode non�probability dengan snowball sampling. Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis uji hipotesis dengan korelasi product moment Karl Pearson, diperoleh hasil nilai korelasi (r) sebesar 0,911 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (sig.<0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada pasangan suami istri. Artinya semakin tinggi komunikasi interpersonal pasangan suami istri maka semakin tinggi juga kepuasan pernikahan
