Abstract

Pemerintah Kabupaten Ponorogo memiliki program untuk melakukan pengembangan sektor pariwisata hal ini sesuai dengan Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Ponorogo No. 1 Tahun 2009 Tentang Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah, adalah pengembangan pariwisata di Ponorogo yang berbasis pada alam, seni, budaya, religi, dan agro industri. Desa Plunturan sebagai salah satu desa wisata rintisan yang berada di kabupaten Ponorogo berusaha mengembangkan berbagai fasilitas dan sumber daya manusia agar menjadi desa wisata yang memiliki karakter budaya sebagai nilai jual yang dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap warga Plunturan. Dalam mengembangkan potensi Desa Wisata di Desa Plunturan, diperlukan mengetahui elemen-elemen penting untuk mewujudkan Desa Wisata. Elemen-elemen yang terlibat ini baik dari Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata, desa, POKDARWIS dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini berfokus pada aspek penerapan prinsip Good Tourism Governance dalam pengembangan Desa Wisata.
