Abstract

Kasus cyberbullying di Indonesia sangat umum terjadi yang mana rata-rata pelaku ialah usia remaja, hal ini juga terjadi disebabkan oleh regulasi emosi setiap remaja. Kenyataannya perempuan cenderung menjadi korban, sedangkan laki-laki lebih cenderung menjadi pelaku cyberbullying. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara regulasi emosi dengan kecenderungan perilaku cyberbullying pada remaja pengguna media sosial. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berusia 15-18 tahun berjumlah 97 remaja di Desa Pelemwatu, Gresik. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan google form. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan incidental sampling. Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif korelasional dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji product moment yang mana diperoleh nilai korelasi -619 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara regulasi emosi dengan kecenderungan perilaku cyberbullying pada remaja pengguna media sosial.
