Abstract

Tanah merupakan salah satu material yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja konstruksi bangunan. Teknik perbaikan tanah adalah merupakan tindakan stabilisasi tanah dengan memperbaiki karakteristik tanah yang asli, hingga memenuhi syarat teknis yang dibutuhkan oleh konstruksi, seperti peningkatan daya dukung dan kuat geser tanah, penurunan kompresibilitas tanah, peningkatan atau penurunan permeabilitas tanah, dan lain sebagainya. Pada Proyek Pembangunan Jalan Lingkar Tuban terdapat tanah lempung lunak di STA 9+050 – 9+075, dimana penurunan pada kondisi exsisting setelah dilakukan penghamparan timbunan pilihan setebal 30 cm. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode geotextile sebagai alternatif perkuatan di STA 9+050 – 9+075 pada proyek Pembangunan Jalan Lingkar Tuban. Dari data yang didapatkan diketahui tanah nampak tanah lunak. Pemilihan tipe geotextile yang digunakan adalah UW-250 dengan kapasitas kekuatan sebesar 5,20 t/m yang berfungsi sebagai seperator untuk perkuatan Proyek Pembangunan Jalan Lingkar Tuban pada STA 9+050 – 9+075. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa besarnya penurunan yang terjadi akibat beban diatas tanah lunak di STA 9+050 – 9+075 adalah 57,35 cm dan waktu konsolidasi yang didapatkan adalah selama 190,311 tahun. Panjang geotextile (L) yang ditanam di STA 9+050 – 9+075 pada proyek Pembangunan Jalan Lingkar Tuban adalah 9,884 m dipasang sebanyak 1 layer. Nilai Safety Factor (SF) pada tanah dengan timbunan pilihan dan perkuatan geotextile di STA 9+050 – 9+075 adalah 2,7, sehingga diketahui bahwa penggunaan geotextile sebagai alternatif perbaikan tanah lunak di STA 9+050 – 9+075
