Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu modern memberikan wawasan luas mengenai pembentukan energi terbarukan dalam mengganti energi bahan bakar fosil, mengingat kuantitas bahan bakar fosil yang sangat terbatas. Energi terbarukan merupakan energi yang berasal dari alam bebas serta dapat digunakan secara terus menerus dan tak terbatas. Manfaat dari energi terbarukan yaitu dapat meminimalisir efek pemanasan global. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan 2 jenis sampel, yaitu kondisi basah dan kondisi kering. Pada kondisi basah, pengukuran voltase dilakukan setiap hari secara bertahap hingga menghasilkan voltase yang maksimum yaitu pada hari ke 4. Pada kondisi kering, pengukuran dilakukan sekali dikarenakan pencapaian voltase yang dihasilkan cukup maksimum.Setelah melakukan penelitian, peneliti mendapatkan hasil bahwa pada kondisi kering dengan perbandingan 10 gram fosfor dan 20 gram boron, voltase berada dalam kondisi maksimum yaitu sebesar 819 mV. Pada kondisi basah dengan perbandingan 15 gram fosfor dan 15 gram boron dapat menghasilkan voltase sebesar 261 mV.
