Abstract
South causeway lot 6 Tulungagung is a national road that connects Tulungagung Regency with Trenggalek Regency. At the time of construction there were areas prone to landslides from STA 14+100 to STA 14+400 on that route. The Bishop method is used in analyzing slope stability using manual calculations and geoslope software calculations. The factor of safety for the stability of the existing slope conditions is 0.381 for manual calculations and 0.324 for the geoslope software, this value is less than 1.35 so the slope needs strengthening. Soil nailing is planned with variations in installation angles of 10˚, 15˚, 20˚ as slope stability at STA 14+100 to STA 14+400. The greatest value of the safety factor for slope stability with soil nailing reinforcement is 2,256 with an angle of 10˚. The results of the analysis of all slope reinforcement stability controls using soil nailing have met the SF value of 1.5. Therefore, soil tacking can be an alternative solution for slope stability on the southern causeway lot 6 of Tulungagung. Keywords: landslide, slope stability, safety factor, soil nailing
