Abstract
Driving anxiety is one of mental disorders caused by traffic accidents with the highest prevalence. Individuals with high driving anxiety are more likely to experience traffic accidents again. Thought stopping therapy is a technique that has been used for a long time to reduce anxiety. The purpose of this study was to find out how effective thought stopping therapy is for reducing driving anxiety. This research is a case study research with a one-group pre-test posttest design involving two traffic accident survivors. The data analysis method used to test the hypothesis in this study is the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. From testing the hypothesis, a score of Z = -1.000 is obtained with a significance level of p = 0.317 (p > 0.05). Thus it can be concluded that thought-stopping therapy is not significant in reducing driving anxiety in road traffic accident survivors.
