Abstract
Terjadi peningkatan pengguna media sosial dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, penggunan media sosial memberikan pengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan subjektif mahasiswa, faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kesejahteraan subjektif mahasiswa salah satunya adalah intensitas penggunaan media sosial dan fear of missing out. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan Instagram dan fear of missing out terhadap kesejahteraan subjektif mahasiswa. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 153 mahasiswa perguruan tinggi di Surabaya. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Teknik accidental sampling dan teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menujukkan ada hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan Instagram dan fear of missing out terhadap kesejahteran subjektif (p>0,05). Intensitas penggunaan Instagram dan fear of missing out memberikan dampak pada mahasiswa mengenai penilaian terhadap kepuasan hidup serta respon emosi yang dialami oleh mahasiswa, dengan memiliki tingkat kesejahteraan subjektif yang tinggi, maka akan membantu mahasiswa untuk menyelesaikan studi secara efektif.
