Abstract

Energi listrik yang bersumber dari fosil-fosil yang mana bahan fosil tersebut lambat laun seiring waktu akan habis jika sering digunakan dan bergantung pada bahan fosil. Untuk itu diperlukannya sebuah trobosan pembangkit yang ramah lingkungan dengan su,ber daya yang dapat digunakan berulang – ulang dan salah satunya adalah air. Berbagai cara telah dilakukan untuk menciptakan energi listrik, diantaranya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA), Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU), dan masih banyak lagi sumber energi yang lain. Saat ini di Indonesia pembangkit listrik tenaga air banyak diminati oleh masyarakat karena mudah ditemukan dan tidak akan pernah habis. Pemanfaatan air sebagai sumber energi listrik dapat dilakukan dengan cara memanfaatkan aliran energy sebagai pembangkit energy yang ekonomis dan ramah lingkungan. Salah satu alat yang digunakan untuk memperoleh energy listrik ini adalah Pikohidro. Dalam hal ini, pikohidro digerakkan oleh generator DC untuk menghasilkan energy listrik. Dalam penelitian ini membahas tentang alat pembangkit dan alat pembagi arus yang mna outputnya dibagi menjadi dua beban yaitu beban untuk lampu penerangan jalan umum dan penerangan untuk budidaya lele milik warga setempat .
