Abstract

Home Industries Omah Sewing is engaged in textiles. Founded in 2015 by Mr. Yogi, Omah Sewing has grown from being only a clothing maker to now opening up services for making clothes, screen printing and coloring (wenter). Until now, Omah Sewing Home Industry has a production capacity of 600-800pcs per day. Home Industries Omah Sewing has 6 employees in the formation of 3 tailors, 2 screen printing workers, and 1 sprinter. Current problems based on the field, there are several problems experienced by sewing machine employees who work with machines for hours. Employees complain of feeling sick after work, complaints occur in the area: neck, back, soles and shoulders. The problems experienced by tailors will be taken and processed using the NORDIC, REBA, and RULA methods. This study aims to determine the factors that cause tailors' complaints, to find out how much muscle disorders the tailors have, to find out how much fatigue the tailors have, and to find out how big the tailor's workload is. After knowing the results and if the risk level is in a high position or more, the work position will be corrected. The complaint is based on the result of an unergonomic work position that results in complaints after finishing work. after there is an improvement in the work position, the researcher will take the data back and process it again using the NORDIC, REBA, and RULA methods. The results of the study were 4 levels of risk such as LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH, and VERY HIGH. If you get a LOW-MEDIUM result, the change in work position is appropriate. Researchers hope that the results of the evaluation can provide a solution to change an ergonomic work position and reduce the complaints caused. After the improvement in the work position has gotten good results, it will be compared with the old data so that it becomes evidence that the changes in the work position are appropriate and get better results.
