Abstract

East Java which is one of the provinces with various kinds of regional culinary spread in each city. In East Java itself needs a good introduction so that traditional food is not forgotten. An effective and efficient introduction can be done through various media, one of which is using game media. In this study, an educational game "Find the Ingredients" was developed on the android platform which was built to be an alternative in introducing the typical culinary of East Java. With the adventure game genre and with the addition of FSM, it makes this game more interesting to play. The methodology used in this research is MDLC, designed and made using CorelDraw software for design and Unity for programming. From the results of tests carried out using the black box method, it can be concluded that this game can function properly. And also through the questionnaire it was concluded that the game Find The Ingredients met the usability aspect. It also met the media feasibility aspect because the percentage of test results that had been carried out obtained a minimum result of "Good".
