Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, Rupiah Exchange Rate and World Crude Oil Prices on the Stock Prices of Indonesian Companies listed on the NYSE in the 2019-2021 period partially to simultaneously. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study are Indonesian companies listed on the NYSE. The data collection used in this research is the documentation method. The data analysis used in this research is simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the Dow Jones Industrial Average partially had no significant effect on stock prices, this was evidenced by the results of simple linear regression analysis which showed a regression coefficient value of 0.000 and a t- count value of 1.151 < t-table 1.679 and a significance value of 0.258 > 0. ,05. The Rupiah exchange rate partially has a significant negative effect on stock prices, this is evidenced by the results of simple linear regression analysis which shows a regression coefficient of -47.721 and a t-count value of -3.088 < t-table 1.697 and a significance value of 0.004 <0.05. World Crude Oil Prices have an insignificant positive effect on Stock Prices, this is evidenced by the results of simple linear regression analysis which shows a regression coefficient value of 0.066 and a t- count value of 1.024 < t-table 1.697 and a significance value of 0.313 > 0.05. The Dow Jones Industrial Average, World Crude Oil Prices, and the Rupiah Exchange Rate simultaneously have a significant positive effect on stock prices, this is evidenced by the regression equation Y = 1135716, 638 + 0.000 X1 + 0.191 X2 – 63.481 X3, F-count ( 5,476 > 2 .90 ), significance of 0.004 < 0.05, and Adjusted R Square value of 0.277.
