Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of democratic leadership style, work ethic, and organizational commitment on employee performance at Perum Perhutani East Java Regional Division. The place of this research is the Perum Perhutani Regional Division of East Java. Jl. Kali Genteng No.49, Genteng, Surabaya, SBY City, East Java 60275. The time of study was conducted from April – June 2022. This study used data sampling from 60 employees through questionnaires. The type of data used is quantitative. In the research, the t-test shows that the Democratic Leadership Style variable has a partial effect on Y with the regression coefficient value of the Democratic Leadership Style (X1) of 0.027, the regression coefficient value of Work Ethic (X2) of 0.013, and the regression coefficient value of Organizational Commitment (X3) of 0.001, thus each variable X has a positive and significant effect on variable Y. While the F test obtained f count > f table is 13,982 > 2.75 so it can be concluded that the independent variables are Democratic Leadership Style (X1), Work Ethic (X2 ), Organizational Commitment (X3) has a simultaneous and significant influence on the Employee Performance variable (Y) This research is expected to be a consideration for developing better employee performance. In addition, this research is expected to be considered a consideration for human resource development at Perum Perhutani Regional Division of East Java in the future.
